I would agree that Iodine has the "kick". On a personal level, I never seemed to figure out how MUCH Iodine to take...I mean, for the long haul.
I do know, that by taking a "massive" daily amount of Iodide only, that for me to feel THIS good, my body must be figuring out how to take the EXTRA Iodide it's getting, and converting it to the needed iodine...but I have to be taking enough Iodide to do just that.
The problem, is two things.
Can't do this indefinitely, for (at least) two reasons.
1) The body CAN become DEPENDENT, so taking gram dosages is NOT a permanent thing. When prescribed for skin funguses, the prescription is/was for 3-6 months maximum.
2) The cost. Taking this much SSKI is costly. I couldn't do it forever, anyways.
I just know I got a thyroid and intestines to heal. I'm hoping these large amounts and summertime sweating and sunshine will do just that.
It's a "timing" thing, for me anyways.
Good health to all, and here's to the proper independent dosages that everyone finds suitable for THEM!!!
