Re: +3 Streptococcus and no growth of beneficial Lactobacillus.

Hi Dave , thanks for the reply as always !.  Sorry for not getting back quickly, until i see my doctor I'm trying my best to avoid web searching for answers since it usually makes me feel somewhat hopeless and angry.

I had a digestive stool analysist performed by Genova Diagnostics. In regards to the source for probiotics sometimes feeding bad bacteria I can't seem to find anything specific anywhere but know like yourself I've read it a few times on various websties.  Thanks for the link on the probiotics.

I was having a good think about what could possibly be causing my health problems last ngiht. It's a strange one that's for sure, I seem to have all the symptoms of H.pylori but the cause of SIBO and I'm now negative for H.pylori.

I'm wondering if it's possible that a bacteria such as streptococcus as found on my stool sample could be in the small bowel due to a lack of lactobacillus ( which is there in part to keep such bacteria from overgrowing ) after taking so many antibiotics and this in turn has caused inflammation , malabsoprtion and the various other symptoms I'm suffering from ?.

If this was the case surely lowering the population of Strep and the other bad bacteria present either with regular or natural antibiotics and they repopulating with beneficial bacteria should help ?.  I am also deficient in vitamin D which could points towards absorption problems in the small bowel.

I've tried high dose Allicin , matula herbal formula , mastic gum , zinc , manuka honey , various probiotics and many other products and supplements. This is what makes me tempted to try antibiotics , I feel like all these natural products just aren't cutting it.
