Even if your lips are peeling everyday, when they peel it shouldnt be causing as much trauma because they are moisturied. If it is, then you are not doing it correctly.
Just moisutrize your lips and allow the buildup to come off when its ready. And it should come off VERY easily and with no trauma.
When leaving them completely dry, even though the crusts stay on for longer, while they are on I believe there is more trauma being caused because of the tightness of the crusts on the lips. And for anyone who has done it, we all know its impossible for the crusts not to prematurely peel off while eating, talking, smiling, etc. which causes SO much trauma.
In fact while leaving them dry, I dont think that my lips ever peeled off "on time" or naturally, or without trauma. My crusts always seemed to come off with trauma.
