Re: Help on SSKI dosage please for Hypothyroidism
You are lucky, it is not easy because sometimes the body gives Herximer, which to many people interpret as the body saying "no"
" I have noticed that approximately sixty-five percent of
Rheumatoid Arthritis patients and twenty-five to thirty percent of osteoarthritic patients undergo the Herxheimer reaction when treated with [The Rheumatoid Disease Foundation medications and The Proper Nutrition for
Rheumatoid Arthritis ]. (See The Herxheimer Effect15)
"Dr. Newnham has in his research verified the fact that arthritic patients undergoing treatment with Boron supplementa- tion often experienced the Herxheimer reaction and the reaction is always a good prognostic sign."" from

With
Iodine we see similar proportion of people having these adverse reactions. Some people ignore it and move on. Other people of simple minds write bombastic drivelings about how internet forums are poisoning people. Another group of people understand the Herximer reaction that sometimes accompanies
Iodine supplementation is a natural thing. Its a perfect opportunity for people to either argue to no good end or to show love and respect and just get along. In the end, they all define where they are, based on their actions.
Dr. Newnham seems to think after all his education and experience that Herximer is a good prognostic sign. I like to agree with this. People need to stop freeking out over that which is well-known and documented and quit being so ignorant - read read read!!
