Re: My story -- Please help me identify this picture

Cantaloupe: The riper the better. Cutting it into cubes and allowing it to sit in a bowl in its own juices for a few hours prior to consuming seems to also be a benefit.
Barley Water: Boil a liter of water, add 2 tablespoons of barley, boil for an hour, drink when you can. Allowing it to sit does not seem to increase any benefit. Keeps well in the fridge, actually quite tasty, if you don't mind barley.
Barley: Eating the barley itself seems also to be very beneficial. The reaction is of course delayed, but certainly noticeable.
I have found that foods high in ferulic/diferulic acids work well: the cantaloupe and barley fall into that catagory...as well as water chestnuts, Sugar beets and many others.

Tea: I use ordinary grocery store black tea. Brew 2L, of the Tea using Twice the suggested number of bags.
I put the boiling water into the glass 2L measure cup, add tea bags, Immediately add the following:

2T Turmeric
1T Cinnamon
1/4t Ground Clove
1/4t Ground Sage
1/4t Anise seed broken up in my hand a bit
1/8t Black Pepper
1t Ground Ginger
Give it a stir and let it sit for 10 min.
Remove tea bags
Then I add additional ingredients:
1T Turmeric
2T raw honey
2T real maple syrup

I do put the turmeric in at two different temperatures.

These are the minimum amounts I use, sometimes I add more pepper or sage, sometimes I Like it sweeter than others. The most important thing for me is I had to make it good, so I would drink it constantly, 2L a day. You can drink it hot or cold.

I hope this is helpful, if you have ANY questions please ask. Play with the recipe until you like it, it really helped me a lot. All the best to you.
