Exercise will also deplete your muscle reserves much faster on a fast because you will not be replenishing them with the amino-acids they need from your diet.
In addition, some amino-acids are utilized from your muscles on a fast for the production of glucose to feed the brain and other organs, and in particular your skeletal muscles are used for this purpose.
Personally I would not exercise too much or at all whilst fasting but within the limits laid down by your own body.
Fasting is a physiological rest and the body will benefit the most by resting as much as possible.
