Reason I ask is because less than 2 weeks ago I started anti-candida low carb/low Sugar diet, along with a very high probiotic pill. This really messed me up. Thyroid crashed and massive die-off symptoms. I have honestly never felt so bad and had to take several days off of work.
I have been on the Iodine protocol since August and detoxing from that has been awful as well. I am wide awake and have heart palpatations every morning around 5:00 a.m. So much for sleeping in. High anxiety various times throughout the day, too. What has helped me some is pantethine.
As far as diet - there has to be a better way to beat candida. What type of diet cured you of this, without messing up your thyroid/adrenals? I heard from some that Custom Probiotics powder has helped. I am at the stage where probiotic pills, and even fermented cabbage give me horrible die-off.
Also, I may have leaky gut, as I have many food intolerances over the past year. I gave up gluten products/breads in Feb. or March of this year. I have been off White Sugar for quite a while as well. I should note that I was on the birth control pill for about 9 years and I highly suspect that is what brought on my candida problem...
Looking forward to hearing your stories on what helped. Thanks so much!
