You should do this. Buy a bottle of 25mgs or less of ALA and take a pill every 3 hours for say a day. If you feel really better or worse that means you are mercury toxic.

There are tests for lyme. For mercury tests sucks, they are useless IMO. I would test lyme if you have enough significant symptoms. 20 Amalgams in your mother is telling though.
