Ascaris in stool while on Vermox - help!

Hello,

I recently had terrible constipation, the kind that actually impaired me in everyday life, and finnaly went to the doctor and asked for Vermox. The doctor wasn't happy to give it to me for some reason, preferred to put me on Antibiotics , but I insisted. A day on the Vermox and - surprise, surprise! Spent the whole day in the toilet, very painful bowel movements, and must have excreted at least five dozens of these (no kidding).

I've seen some that also looked like liver flukes but were far too big, so I'm not worried about them for now.

No my biggest concern is, I'm worried about the Ascaris being present in my lungs. I know that's how they multiply and I had what I thought was bronchitis some months ago, but might have just been worms in my lungs...? I'm freaked out and just want them out of my system. Will Vermox get rid of the parasites from my lungs also? What can I do to make sure they're gone?

I've been eating pumpkin seeds and raw garlic the past couple of days. Cutting out grains too extremely isn't an option as I'm an endurance athelete and need the carbs. What changes do I need to make, however, to prevent reinfection?
