Hi Ginagirl. No, I was only raw vegan for a couple months in the summer. Shortly after experimenting with that, I started iodine. But I was eating meat again when I started iodine. I am going to look into the Schwarzbein Principle diet for adrenal balancing proteins/fat/complex carbs with every meal. I know my blood Sugar is off at the moment.
When I tried ashwagandha and the adrenal cortex supplement for 3 days last week, that's when everything got worse. I should have never messed with that. Anxiety and panic symptoms worsened.
I do take 30-45 mg zinc each day. I suspect I may be copper toxic though, since I was on the birth control pill for 9 years.
I may have to get a saliva cortisol test through the mail. But yeah, just going through hell right now and off iodine. Don't know if and when I'm going to start it up again. Hope my hypo symptoms don't creep back up right away...
I just got some Magnesoothe magnesium oil last week with traces of lithium, boron, etc. That does help me a little before bed.
