Article ... wow, this is crazy

So I just signed up for an online free course on virology. One of the topics for this week's discussion was spun off this article http://www.bbc . com/future/story/20130422-feeling-ill-swallow-a-parasite/all ... basically a bunch of people on the course's forum are now talking about this and sharing their ideas ... Just wanted to point this out as to what crazy stuff the medical community is promoting. Someone even said that there are cases of successful treatment of autism with an injection of whip worms ...
