Re: Am I making CS or IS?

*All* LVDC generators produce a product which is predominant in Ag+ ions, not colloids, and there are no exceptions. They don't make ' Colloidal Silver ' as such, they make a predominantly ionic silver solution. An ion is a silver atom minus one electron which results in an electrically positively charged 'ion'.

An ion is the smallest matter can be reduced before it loses its identity as that 'matter'.

Over time in storage some of those ions bond with other ions creating atomic ion clusters or 'colloids', {forces of attraction and repulsion until solution reaches a point of stability}. You will still have a predominantly ionic solution however, just ion/particle ratio changes a tad, ions will still remain dominant.

If you have a ppm meter, check the solution after a couple of days and you will notice the ppm has dropped, this is because some ions have bonded with other ions resulting in the formation of particles or colloids, which the ppm meter will not register.
