Re: Iodine without thyroid hormone?

I take a minimum of 1 gram of Iodide each day and sometimes add Lugols. Every day I use wombat high Iodine cream which holds lugols. I really should be more consistent with the Lugols, but I forget.

The bloating I recognize. For me it has to do with bad digestion. I started taking liver support pills as well as enzymes with my meals and now the bloating almost never happens anymore.

The bloating can also have to do with estrogen dominance. Helping your liver detox helps balance your estrogen/progesterone. If it's bad, DIM can help, or progesterone cream.

I'm detoxing heavy metals (among other nasties) and they disrupt my hormones. Disrupted hormones lead to all kinds of symptoms. Me, I get estrogen dominance badly.

Also, salt helps releave bloating. I mix it up with potassium chloride and magnesium chloride. I'm always magnesium deficient and magnesium deficiency leads to potassium deficiency.
