ICU, I was hoping you could help. So, my six year old son has complained on and off of rectal itching for past year always seemed to be relieved with pinx dose and then symptom free for few months. I have seen white threads in bum when he complained. Now he has itchy eyes, which I has as well when I suspected disseminated worms. Most recent pinx doses(two weeks apart) didn't seem to help itchy bum. I just gave him three days mebendazole(100mg/ am and pm). Still complaining of itchy bum last night. I saw only very small poppy sead sized white balls on rectum. Question is do I give him the ivermectin like my hubby and I are taking? We are currently on am and pm dose for a week and will then take it just once a day for week like we discussed. It really seems to be working. Slight itching noted but It has made such a difference. Im so upset that he is going through this, please help with any advice. Thanks again! Tweet
