Re: Help figure out ZRTlab saliva test results Adrenal Fatigue.
Hi, I am new to this forum but I've had adrenal fatigue for over ten years. It can be a daunting journey but there is hope. It can be very different for each person.
My doctor Dr. Neville explained it to me like this... everyone has various different underlying factors that have contributed to their imbalance. For some it could be 90% toxicity and 10% lifestyle factors. These are extremely rare cases and can usually be resolved by a good detox. When you hear miracle cure stories, they are the exception and not the rule. Most people have a combination of over a dozen factors and they have to go slowly and experiment and wait to see what is helpful.
The meditation is so helpful because beyond helping to reduce your stress, it also helps you to get in alignment with the healing tools you most need.
I looked at your test and have one comment. Your test resembles mine in many ways. I used to think that my estrogen was low until I did a 24 HR urine test. I found out that only my estradiol was actually low. I produce pretty decent amounts of the other two estrogens (estriol and esterone). It's more of an issue of metabolism than low hormones. It's great that you are taking DIM for this reason as it helps the estrogen pathways to metabolize correctly. Your
Acne is probably related to hormone metabolism as well. My body has a tendency to convert to androgn when I'm taking enough DHA/EPA and omega 3's and avoid the omega 6 oils I do better.
Do not let ANYONE allow you to believe that you are a hypochondriac. An almost universal thing about people with AF is that they tend to try too hard, push too hard and are anything but lazy or complaining. AF people deal with some really strange symptoms that you could never understand unless you went through it. Just be patient and understanding with yourself.
If you are still waking up early, you can try to take an extra Seriphos. Also, I would highly recommend l-theanine (200 mgs/day) if you are dealing with anxiety or panic attacks. It takes a few days to a few weeks to notice a big difference but it REALLY helped me and also helped my friend's daughter who was extremely anxious.
