Anyone out there cure their leaky gut still eating grains? Anyone out there cure their leaky gut after eliminating them?
I have been treating leaky gut, candida,
parasites (most likely not confirmed stool test was thrown away). I am on a diet consisting entirely of puree soups. I take L-glutamine 15mg daily, I have a porridge every morning of chia seeds, slippery elm and marshmallow. I take 3-4
coffee enemas a day. I take anti candida anti parasitic herbs, diatomaceous earth, strong probiotic, urine therapy, h2o2 etc etc.
My foods I can eat list include: quinoa, millet, salmon, chicken, non-starchy vegetables, spices, olive oil, coconut oil, soy sauce (gluten free)
My allergies/sensitivities include: gluten, dairy, eggs, oats, nuts (all & wont digest), avocado, cocoa, buckwheat
I'm considering taking the plunge and cutting out grains all together. I'm about 2 months into this regimen and although I feel better I still feel more bloated/uncomfortable than I would like to. My train of thought is that I don't want to be going through all this effort, to find out my progress was significantly slowed down because I add some quinoa or millet to my puree soups. On the other hand, I don't want to cut any more food items out unless necessary, because really that list is pretty slim.
So, if anyone has any experience that would clearly show the difference grains or no grains could make, it would be greatly helpful.
