Re: TDS meter???

'CE' and 'RoHS' are just compliance certificates, nothing for you to be concerned with, unless you want to delve into importation compliance obligations and legalities for your country.

Most meters are calibrated using NaCl calibration solutions, {Sodium Chloride}. There are no meters I am aware of that are calibrated for silver?

Get yourself a stock standard TDS meter off EBay or somewhere, Hanna, HM Digital or whatever, or better still get an EC meter, that's all you need.

This is why meters are notoriously inaccurate, they are not calibrated for silver solutions, they only give you a rough idea of PPM because they are calibrated using a saline solution {salt}.

A TDS meter reading is basically doubled to give a more accurate measurement and an EC {Electrical Conductivity} meter is pretty much read as it shows, both are notoriously inaccurate anyway but they at least let you know there is something in the water besides water.

That's about all you need to know.

Do some research and find out exactly what TDS and EC meters actually do. Find out what a Total Dissolved Solid is and what ElectricaL Conductivity is.
