Not sure I can do this for 10 days. Have read some detox books and did a 2-day juice fast a few weekends ago to "practice". I am planning to go to the natural foods store tomorrow to get the maple syrup. Does it matter what brand or type? Also, why is the maple syrup necessary? If the body needs sugars for nourishment, why not just drink a freshly-juiced fruit or even eat a piece of fruit or two during the day? I'm sure there's a reason, can anyone explain? I just finished a drink with 8 oz spring water, fresh juice of 1 lemon, and ~1/8 teaspoon cayenne powder, I think it tastes fine (lips tingling a little from the cayenne...) Also how do people carry their cleanser drink to work? I know to make it fresh in the morning and to use a glass storage container (not plastic). I leave for work at 7am and get home at 7pm... I think I will be able to do this fine over the weekend but am afraid of caving in to the lunch crowd at work...Any advice? Thanks to everyone - I think this forum will be the reason if I can actually do this....
