You can get enough fatty acids from whole plant foods. Grains, beans, veggies, and fruits. Oils are the most calorie dense junk food on the planet - 100 calories for a tablespoon of "food." And they contribute to endothelial damage and raise cholesterol. Even olive oil is something like 15% saturated fat.

If you have to use oils, use canola oil, since it has the lowest amount of sat fat. Just don't heat it, put a half a teaspoon on a salad if you have to eat it.

But nobody needs to be ingesting junk food like oil.
