My first remedy for head aches is salt. If it doesnt work, try some potassium chloride. (3-10 grams daily.)
This answer counts for several of the latest posts at this forum. If I was to do the Iodine over again, I would start with the main four electolytes; sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium. Then toss in a small amount of lithium. Because it probably has a say in the ratio / utilization of sodium-potassium, same as boron has with magnesium-calcium. http://www.thelithiumdoctor.com/
(just one correction; the link copied refer to hypo thyroidism, not hyper thyroidism);
"Since lack of potassium may cause edema, it is possible it plays a role in chronic headaches, pain in the eyes, hypertension, and the rapid increase in body weight in those with hyperthyroidism. Potassium helps to regulate blood pressure, and more specifically lowers blood pressure. Getting enough potassium in your diet could be very helpful in preventing and treating heart disease, as well as preventing a stroke for those with heart disease."
