For anyone that read some of my posts from a while back, by health is still improving and my adrenal fatigue has not returned, haven't had any crashes but my health is still not perfect still don't have tons of energy in the morning even though for the most part I sleep okay and wake up early. I notice that my kidneys are still not functioning properly, I don't believe they are able to properly regulate the electrolytes in my blood and I tend to accumulate sodium and potassium. I can somewhat regulate these by varying my drinking patterns and sodium intake but of course, what I really need to do is try to heal the kidneys so they can regulate everything properly. I wonder how many people that are doing Nutritional Balancing realize that the kidneys are actually what balances the minerals in your body? If this is the case, then getting the kidneys to function properly is the real way to balance your minerals. Also interesting that the adrenals are located on top of the kidneys, certainly there is a connection there.
According to Western medicine, the only causes of kidney dysfunction are the improper release of hormones by various endocrine glands. But from what I have learned in Ayurveda and other sources, there are two more important reasons the kidneys can not function properly, because the tiny little capillaries in the glomerulus of the kidney can become blocked or they are not being properly formed.
If anyone has ideas on how to repair the health of the kidneys, let me know.
