Re: Magnesium Citrate Intolerance

Thank you to all who have responded to my questions. It has been a long time since I was here. I had emergency gallbladder removal last Christmas 2013 and now have a 7.5" scar. The gastroenterologist told me that the first few days after a gallbladder attack is when the gallbladder is most swollen. This was when I had surgery. I am healing well, although it will take me until summer 2015 for the abdominal nerves to heal.

I'd like to do a cleanse but have thrown up the magnesium citrate again. It is just too nauseating for me. It isn't just that I throw up and feel better. I continue to feel nauseous for several hours. It will probably be better for me to cleanse my liver on an ongoing basis by taking herbal supplements.

Thanks again to everyone who shared their stories, information and resources. <3
