Re: An encouraging response to "what a bunch of whiners"
Listen B I ain't someone speaking of this as an outsider. I was one of the ones addicted to the food thing I was one of the ones that even after I had amazing results from a 10 day juice fast it still took me more than a year before I stopped WHINING!!! to myself about oh I don't feel like it today, Oh it's to hot to exercise, well I don't have the money for the gym, mañana, Oh this juice tastes bad, oh I have a stomach ache and on and on with the whining and procrastinating.
All your clichés and Yankee Doodle climb every mountain analogies are just like toxic
food coloring to make it OK to keep whining and making excuses and NO. Absolutely and emphatically a big resounding >>>>>NO<<<<< to
"one of the biggest obstacles to overcome if you have an addiction to eating unhealthily is messages from uneducated, inconsiderate members of our society who tell you to "Stop whining," and "get over it," when it may be very difficult for you"
YOU, only YOU and nothing/nobody but YOU is the biggest obstacle to overcoming your addiction. Stop blaming society or anything outside of YOU if you expect to succeed.
I takes >>YOUR<< strength, YOUR determination and YOUR focus and no it's not OK to do a little broth cause if you knew how the
Master-Cleanse works you'd know that it would activate your digestive system and make you even hungrier and make it even harder to continue.
Look I'm not being hard on you. I am truly trying to help you succeed by pointing you to the >>>real world reality<<< that there is no "partial success" or at least your mindset and approach has to be that in order to succeed. More so even with anything to do with "addictive disorders". If you say it's hard it will be hard. If you whine on the forum you are not helping anyone least of all yourself. No matter how well intended your little missive above was. To me it reads as just another big excuse and justification for failure. Take it from someone who has gone through the mill of excuses and until I kicked my own butt and sucked it up I only kept going down hill.
The good news is yes the
Master-Cleanse is an amazing "tool" to help you overcome your food addictions and I'll personally vouch for that. After my first
Master-Cleanse (40 days) I did not want to eat anything but clean healthy mostly raw foods. After day 14 I was so energized that I started doing a 6 mile bike ride everyday and every day I would try and beat my previous days time then I started adding more miles. I was invincible I tell ya ;+O The mental aspects of the long MC was by far the greatest benefit to me.
The not so good news is that the MC is the easiest part of all. A walk in the park I would say compared to the focus and determination it will take to change your lifestyle and eating habits and exercising regularly after you're done..........
Now get out there and kick som' o dat MC butt and use your idle time to research and educate yourself for after you're done.
Good luck whatever you decide to do.
