Alleged "Rope Worms"

People need to stop falling for this myth that the strange slimey algae looking worms/strands in stools often found following enemas are "rope worms". They are NOT!

It is intestinal lining sloughing off and/or build up of mucous and biofilm (housing yeasts and bacterias). Take no notice of those seeking to propagate the extravagent and wild suggestion that these are some unidentified species of parasite. They are not. Do not buy any rubbish or pay for any proposed protocols to deal with this as it is nonsence from start to finish.

However, do go doctors and advise them of what you are passing and that you believe it to be intestinal lining because the cause for the sloughing off needs investigating as there could be a serious inflamatory issue or other condition which requires diagnosis.
