Re: elevated TSH ...

I've been on 200 mg of Iodine since June 2014. My TSH keeps going up and now my free T4 is low for the first time. My endo is pressuring me to take meds and I don't want to tell her I take Iodine. I've tried Levothryoxine and Armour and they both gave me heart palpitations, irritability, jitters, etc.

Do my test results indicate that I'm severely Iodine deficient and that's why it's taking a long time for the Iodine to do its thing? I also take 400 mg of Selenium a day. I may be one of the cases that takes up to 18 months to improve.
