As I scrolled down the topics here I came across a mention of erectile angina. Where this is a very misunderstood factor for many, including doctors specializing in heart care, angina is not just about plaque as they would have you believe in the case of angina. There is Prinzmetals, which is a nutrient deficiency, often magnesium as well as an allergic/histamine angina. I am painfully aware of both in my history but I will stick to the erectile angina.
Outside of the very fact histamine is required for an erection (won't happen without it), it also, when not controlled by DAO and other enzymes due to imbalance of the gut flora, toxins, ect., like what happens in the very misunderstood migraines for most, histamine reacts very often to cause vaso dilatation as well as immediate vaso constriction depending on the toxin. It actually doesn't even have to be what we normally might call a toxin. Cocoa, fermented foods, strawberries, ect., can set off a histamine reaction thus a angina attack and erectile dysfunction. I have stopped many an angina attacking the histamine problem though never suffering from erectile issues because I had too much histamine. Anyway, its a very serious place to consider looking when you haven't found answers. Its what I do. :)
