Hi all this is day 3 of my water only fast. I am fasting to see if fasting will work for me, to lower my blood pressure, so I don't have to go on BP meds. My blood pressure before the fast was 140/87. Lots of stuff online that claim fasting can lower BP, I hope its true. I have tried Hawthorne didn't work for me. I take CoQ10 100mg (not while fasting) hasn't worked. I exercise alot. I run hard on the treadmill(not while fasting). Exercise lowers my BP down to 115/75 but it doesn't stay low for long after exercise. In a couple hours its back up. I tried the DASH diet for a month before my fast and it might have lowered it a little, but not very much it seems. I have done juice "fasts" in the past and 1 day fasts, but nothing more than that.
