Hello. I'm 16 and have spent a lot of time trying to cure my candida overgrowth. My primary symptoms are post nasal drip, eczema, fatigue, mild reflux, and nail fungus. I have to spit out a lot of mucus everyday. My candida is not too severe (athlete) but the sinusitis definitely bothers me. Ever since reading about biofilms and their role in Candida overgrowth, I have purchased Candidase (enzyme formula to disrupt biofilms).
Since I still live with my parents, they will not let me follow a strict Candida diet. I have cut out all processed foods, dairy and gluten. However, I do eat fruits and brown rice.
I currently follow this protocol:
Morning: 1 x Candidase (biofilm disruptor)
During the day: Apple Cider Vinegar
Grapefruit seed extract
4 Cloves of Garlic (should I increase it?)
1/2 Beet Blended (destroys biofilms according to Mini Beet Protocol)
Night: 1 x Candidase
1 x Probiotic
The problem so far is that I have not been experiencing dieoff symptoms and I have been doing this for the past week. I am looking for ways to improve this protocol. I'm wondering if the timing for taking each supplement is right.
