my two cents: you won't find another food with more vitamins and minerals than lemons! i would stay on it if you can, and just drink as much of the mc as you want. your body needs the energy now more than ever in order to heal your injury...when you start eating it has to then put much of the energy toward digestion. often when we get hurt it's a natural instinct to fed ourselves for comfort, which is not always the best cure. good luck!!
