Re: The Universal Heal--PLEASE READ

Hey fcuk, thanks for your response.
But what you said about the "deformed" and mangled non-scab skin--that's exactly what I said in my post. I understood what PeelStation said, but I argued that it cannot be what he thinks--dead skin does not act that way; it does not turn brown, curl, wither, peel, and turn white in water. Scabs do, however. When they are dry, scabs will curl and peel; but if you keep a layer of moisturizer on them, they will stick to your skin like glue. Try it. (And they will turn puke green while they're stuck there, just as adastran commented).

Also, I don't understand this obsession with keeping your lips off of any sort of moisturizer. Who on earth DOESN'T apply moisturizers to their lips? How many people just leave them be? Normal people DO get chapped lips, DO peel from time to time, DO get dead skin growth if lips are too dry, DO need to take care of their lips. I don't understand this line of thought that if someone uses chapstick, their lips are crap. Chapstick makes my lips smooth and soft--that's why I wear it. I do allow my lips to get dry a few times a day though. But truthfully, I've had a problem with lip dryness since I was a kid--that's probably I was picking them so much in the first place. It's likely just natural, just like some people have more dandruff, or some people have drier feet or hands (or even wetter hands) than others.

At least try this method for yourself. It should only take a matter of days before you either confirm it or debunk it. I'm telling you, my lip skin grew back, and I DO NOT scab anymore--or I don't grow "deformed" skin anymore, if you still don't buy the scab thing.

Thanks.
