Re: Do you eat flax seeds soaked or ground?

Crushing is helpful but not necessary. But the best crusher is your teeth and saliva mixing is a big help in digestion, well, for everything we eat. I put soaked flawed seeds in my kefir and chew them with all the fruits. Some do come out whole as is from the other end, but most seeds work that way. Life's one symbiotic process is designed that way.

I also use crushed flax seeds in a small mill, but that has to be consumed within 20 minutes because it goes rancid fast.

I am so thrilled with your convictions of not using machines. I love it. One day I may get to your stage and live without machines.
