If you search through the threads, which go back a long time, you'll find several cases of people who unsuccessfully tried steroid injections.

However, there is an old paper from the 50s in which a doctor claims to have cured people suffering from chelitis-like conditions with hydrocortisone injections used in conjunction with hyaluronidase. No one has ever tried that treatment though. Tweet
