Re: Hair Mineral Analysis: Odd Results
Are you a practitioner? I'm not but have been doing NB for over 6 years, and my husband has been on the program for almost 5. We work with ARL and use a practitioner trained by Dr. Wilson. I know there are some different points of view on tests between Trace and ARL. I just looked at my very first test and my husband's. We had 3 numbers that were almost identical but wide variations on the others. My high copper showed up from the very first test which made sense because high copper symptoms led me to NB. Migraines, mood swings, extreme fatigue. His tests indicate hidden copper toxicity, and, since being on the program, more copper is coming out for him.
I wanted to mention that neither of us are vegetarians, but his zinc was slightly low while mine was very low. We both had low phosphorus which indicates poor protein synthesis. So the protein we were eating wasn't being broken down well. Low zinc is typical for high copper so I'm sure that was a big factor for me on the first test. Also for me, once I began doing coffee enemas,
parasites began to come out. So maybe another reason for poor protein breakdown?? Sharing my food??
I do think people who live together and eat different diets could have very similar tests. In the ARL way of looking at tests, the tests can reveal lots of hidden things that only come out once people are on the right supplements and diet. Also, doing some detox protocols regularly like
coffee enemas and sauna can speed up their progress.
Anyway, this is just my opinion. I don't have training but have tried to understand how this works. Often, once someone is on the program, the next test is more accurate. And sometimes it is worse than the first because toxic metals have been propping up mineral levels.
