Interesting. I have always had success with DE. Could it perhaps be the diatomic structure itself kills parasites, but the silica mineral feeds it? It seems counterintuitive to think a mineral as healthy and important as silica would feed parasites (considering they usually ingest unhealthy compounds/sugars/ preservatives /artifical flavorings etc.).
