Re: borox...is it toxic?

It is a legal requirement to add a skull and crossbones symbol to packets of borax to discourage people from ingesting it and unwittingly poisoning themselves.

It is also a health and safety requirement that you wear protective googles and gloves to handle borax.

These precautions would not exist if borax was harmless.
