Is Liver Flush Mandatory?

I am starting my second Master-Cleanse (day one). I felt great when I did it last year, but this time I noticed the disclaimer at the top of this site about liver flushes. If I do a 10-14 day cleanse, is it absolutely necessary to do the Liver Flush to avoid "serious digestive problems"? I didn't do one last time...
