id say your dermatologist is most likely right although its a rare form of dermatitis/eczema…(thats of course if ec is eczema which a few of us believe and also a few dermatologist believe like yours) Consider yourself lucky as you have only recently got it. theres a range of new treatments becoming available in 2017 for dermatitis/eczema dupilumab being the biggest hope. theres no cure or actual medicine which is targeted for eczema at the moment unfortunately except for steroids etc etc which don't work.. for eczema if your willing a couple have seen clearing with imuran.. if not just manage till new treatments become available till next year.. good luck of course always consult your doctor as it seems like they know what there talking about.
