Tattoo Removal Affect Iodine? (Bad Symptoms)

I did a laser tattoo removal about 6-8 weeks ago. It works by breaking down the color and having it go through the blood stream, and out the liver.

3 weeks ago I started taking 6.25mg Iodoral, I only took it for a week until I had to stop. My blood pressure and pulse got very high, as well as tachycardia.

Here's the problem: It's now been 2 weeks, and I still have a high pulse and blood pressure. I also have pain in my chest a lot. What's going on? Could the tattoo have anything to do with this? Should I go see a Doctor?
