If you get the whiteness it's probably from stretching your lips too much & the barrier tears or you didn't properly work the cream in with your finger.

You should not take it off. It won't work if you keep taking it off. It needs to stay there for your lips to heal.

This is a picture of my lips after 1 day of applying gloves in a bottle. Last week I said I was gonna restart again after I made some mistakes. I don't know if you can see that I have the barrier on. The first few days it's almost invisible & it feels soft to touch.
