Have an elderly (88) gentleman at the VA recieving amphotericin for aspergillosis. He is stable but not getting out anytime soon. I have suggested the use of highly successful systemic blood, lung, brain anti-fungal Diflucan/Fluconazole instead. Any thoughts?
