Re: End of Day 20
What a great post!
I love the attitude of making food for others while on the cleanse. It really helps to see the difference between hunger and "hunger". So much of our eating habits are mental, so much of our food associations are mental, so much of our social interactions center around food.
When I'm on the MC, it's like there is a switch in me that turns off. The smells turn into a feast in themselves. And it really increases my appreciation for food. We have so much to be grateful for, and so much is taken for granted.
You've made it to day 20! That's a huge marker!
"After day 20, the mind is affected. Heightened clarity and emotional balance are felt at this time. Memory and concentration improve."
I've never gone that far, someday maybe.
I like how you listen to your wife's fears, but then carry on. I wonder if she is feeling like she should fast as well? Is she feeling self conscious? Sometimes, watching another person change can be scary for other people.
As for the arms? After the fast, there's always working out? Take the scrunchy arms and turn into some muscle?
Thanks for the post, keep on keeping on!
