Re: Type One (!) Diabetes and Fasting?

Thanks Archon,

So far I haven't been able to find that study. If you remember any other keywords, please let me know. And, what does it mean they got better?

Do you remember the reason Shelton would not fast type Iers?
Personally I can't think of a reason why not, after all, type I diabetics' bodies would also switch to ketosis after having used up the glycogen stores...?

I'm not asking for myself, btw, but for someone else I care about.

The reason I thought of fasting is that Dr. Valter Longo has apparently had success with type I and II with his fasting mimicking diet, so far only in a rat model:

Fasting mimicking diet is supposed to give the benefits of fasting but you can have small meals... it's a very specific plan.

Hans
