That sounds right. To cite but one possible example, if a person has chronic B vitamins deficiencies, then taking Iodine will not fix the symptoms of B vitamin deficiencies. And it might make some of the symptoms to be exacerbated. My belief is people who have problems with Iodine supp, have deficiencies of other nutrients
