Grab strong vitamin A (Retinol, retinyl acetate, dunaliela algae are all excellent forms of it, especially the algae for a mood boost!). You can take it up over 50,0000 IU a day or higher for several weeks, (especially for very heavy periods and painful breasts) to destroy vital strongholds in the body. Give breaks though for your vitamin D levels to re-establish themselves though, since A and D are on a seesaw with eachother and A lowers production of red blood cells.
I especially recommend the dunaliela because it is cheap as dirt and has a lot more than just beta carotene to offer. Search the IodineVWT forum for Wombat's (and a few other) posts on vitamin A and women's health!
Vitamin A will help destroy the encystations. Zinc also comes to mind.
I'd like you to pay what vitamins/co-nutrients you are taking beyond the borax and iodine?
