I have adrenal fatigue issues including blood Sugar issues. I have to eat every 3/4 hours to prevent blood Sugar drops. I power my body on carbs (grains, potatoes) and lots of it. This is what I crave and are the only foods that seem to fill me.
Question is, could a person like me do Keto? I want to heal my gut with a grain free type diet. I’ve heard it usually takes a few days for a person to switch from a Sugar burning to a fat burning mode. Would it be safe for me to attempt this? I feel like my blood sugar would drop initially but I’m concerned about my body clueing in and starting to burn fat instead. Any suggestions or comments are welcome.
