Hi again, Somer. I wanted to let you know that you've been very helpful. I did a lot more homework after writing to you last time and have switched to a water-only fast. After checking out juice versus water, it seemed that the latter was what I needed most. The two and a half days on the green drink were good preparation for me, and I'm doing fine on Day Five, though pretty weak!
I think my next fast, probably in the spring, will be a juice fast. The
Water Fasting seems extreme to me (though, as I said, I think it's the best thing for me right now), and I think I'll use it sparingly. I do have to say, though, that my hair and skin are really looking/feeling healthier than they have in a long time! The weight loss is a little extreme, but I know it's only temporary.
