I guess the idea of the Master-Cleanse diet does kind of defeat the object of "complete body cleansing" if you need to take medication for your condition.
But being a sufferer of Depression I know what it is like to depend on such medication and sometimes quitting it isn't an option.
However what is most important is to feel healthier and achieve it any way you can. Whether it be through diet, cleansing or taking more time to relax it is paramount to you that you don't let your condition worsen.
I think you should give it a go and see if it works for you. You never know it may well be the answer to helping you get off of you meds.
