I have been experiencing extreme anxiety within the past few weeks. Several life changes and experiences have occurred and my thoughts are consumed with this. I have previously been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD).
A few days ago discomfort has developed in the chest, stomach, and intestinal area. It feels like a burning/aching sensation, almost like adrenaline being poured out in those areas. I have also not had a bowel movement for over 24 hours.
Curently I am not taking anything for GAD disorder. Today I have been drinking chamomile and peppermint tea to help alleviate the stress and physical discomfort but it does not seem to be working.
Can someone please offer some alternative help on how to alleviate this discomfort? Thank you very much.
