Recent Evolutionary Changes to human genome

From that link, it says they have identified those genes which have undergone mutation in the past 15,000 years. They can also identify changes from a million+ years ago when we separated from the chimpanzee line.

The best example is that of lactose digestion. Only those populations that had domesticated cattle developed the lactose digestion gene. It is very much in evidence today, as we see populations that originated from specific areas of the world that cannot digest lactose.

K - it shows that we are still growing up. We still have potential to adapt, to grow, and to change.

Lets hope it happens before we have destroyed the natural world.

The destruction we see now, which represents a destruction of our future, is a consequence of the fossil-fools who believe that humans have allready evolved so far that we cannot possibly make any big mistakes like global warming - "its all part of the pan and it will be fine, don't worry".

Those ones will become extinct soon, I hope, but they don't have any right to take us all down with them...
