Sugar should still be ruled out until we are in fact completely cured.
i have cured some symptoms since starting, my reactions to foods are starting to improve, but only slightly. this to me is just the very beginning.
sounds like you should still stick with the candida protocol jen. if you take high amounts of probiotics it will help push you more towards the good side of the imbalance. you shouldn't have to be as strict about it, and it seems like you've definitely made progress, but also sounds like you still need to continue. you may also want to try another round of an anti-fungal that you haven't become immune to... whatever something different. i sometimes take one antifungal dose in the morning and probiotics at night, seems to work pretty well. doesn't mean you have to do this forever.
